46 Hampden Park Yarnbomb Hearts - July 2012

Hey guys,

As you may know, a rather large sporting event is taking place in London this year!

Up here in Scotland, there's not much buzz so we decided to do something about it!

Several lovely ladies and groups have come together to decorate Hampden Park area for the football and I sent some wee "sporty" coloured hearts along to the event!

The lovely ladies turned my hearts into a mobile along with some cute pom-poms!

Well, I'm off to click, click, click away! I've knitted the base for my first piece for The Yarnvent Calendar 2012! I'm so excited! I'm putting a little Shadow_Stitch twist on my pieces this year! Eeeek! Can't wait to share! Less than 5 months to go!

44 Cheshire Cat - 16th July 2012

Hey guys,

Well, it's been a while! Don't worry though, I've been working away on about 20 different projects - too much at once!!!!

I've recently rediscovered my obsession with Fairytales and I've decided to start off with my favourite: "Alice In Wonderland".

So, it gives me great pleasure to introduce you all to the Cheshire Cat.

I'm rather proud of how he turned out! I love his manic grin!

Later on today, i'll be posting details of my first ever Yarnbomb Competition to win 1 of 3 special edition Shadow_Stitch originals.

43 Father's Day - 17th June 2012

42 Yarn Storm - 9th June 2012

Hey Shadows,

Happy International Yarnbombing Day!!!!

I am sooo excited to do this project! I came up with the idea a few months back and never quite got round to doing it. I have had the sunshine cloud made for quite some time and finally decided that International Yarnbomb Day would be the perfect time for this yarnbomb!

Playing on the word yarnstorm, I decided to quite literally make a Yarn Storm! I am rather proud of this and I think it may be one of my favourite yarnbombs!

I made 5 clouds for the Yarn Storm and made a wee playlist to go along with them!

I hope you all love it as much as I do!

I really wanted to keep my wee clouds!

Well, I'm off to work on my next project. Today I reached 150 Twitter followers and 210 Facebook friends! As a MASSIVE Thank You to everyone that has followed and supported my yarnbombing, I shall be running a competition to win some Shadow_Stitch originals! 41 Knit Corsham Contribution - 9th June 2012

40 Jubilee Yarnbomb - 3rd June 2012

Hello!

I hope you all like my Jubilee yarnbomb including my ambitious attempt at a wee Corgi Pom-Pom! I love him and decided to keep him for myself- he is a wee bit strange looking!

I also took some pictures with my new camera using the exaggerate colour option! The look really cool and the trees look neon!
