26 Halloween Trick or Treat Project - 31st October 2011

Happy Halloween!!!!

I hope you all like my spooky Halloween Yarnbomb! I worked alongside Little Saint Knit on this one and we both yarnbombed the same place at the same time, taking a side of the cemetery gates each.

25 The Peacock Witch - 27th October 2011

Introducing The Peacock Witch!
This little peacock decided to dress up for Halloween rather early as she just couldn't wait until 31st October to wear her hat and use her broom!

I am sooo happy with this project! The peacock statue always looks great whatever you do to it! Some may remember that I previously gave her a wee pixie hat way back in May!

24 Crocodile Bracelet - 15th September 2011

Hey Shadows!

Around Edinburgh at the moment there is a project to promote awareness of endangered animals!

I decided to spruce up this poor crocodile sculpture that has been called "Croc'o S**t"

Her back is filled with balls of dung that can be seen through a perspex panel.

I decided to glam her up and cheer her up a bit!

Someone else got in on the act, and on the second day turned her fetching bracelet into an arm cuff.

Fashion changes so quick! "Croc'o S**t" is such a fashion icon - always on top of the latest trend- check her out below!

23 Rainbow Reaper Teaser - 29th August 2011

Hey guys,

The rainbow reaper has been spotted top-side! This is NOT good!

He can appear anywhere out of the shadows and he steals your dreams to keep himself alive! In return you are left plagued by an eternity of nightmares!

Eye witnesses have given us a drawing of his swirling rainbow eyes and pointed rainbow fangs and claws! The creature has a long rainbow strand tail and can change his thick black fur coat to any colour of the rainbow at any given moment!

No-one is safe! Look out- if you see him- RUN!!!

22 Carrot Tree 17th August 2011

Hey Shadow peeps,

Sorry it's been a while! Hope you all like my new yarnbomb! I'm fed up looking at orange wool!!!!! lol!

This yarnbomb was installed mid-day in broad daylight during the Edinburgh Festival!

I felt like a Ninja installing it!

21 Pink Lightbulb - Creative Electric 25th July 2011

Hey again,

This next project was a first attempt at a pink lightbulb to help promote Creative Electric!

"Creative Electric is an accessible arts company based in Edinburgh. We are proud to deliver high quality arts projects for young people that have been designed by young people."

Anyway, they got in touch with me to see if I'd like to collaborate with them / do some yarnbombing to promote them! This is the first stage, leaving them a wee present with a letter to hopefully inspire them and get them excited!

20 Along Came A Spider 25th July 2011

Hello Shadows!

Say hello to my ickle spider! He's been dwelling in my house and when I seen him I got such a fright that I let out a scream! This scared Mr. Spider away and he fled to Princes Street Gardens! I suppose he now knows how Little Miss Muffet felt- only she's now too scared to visit the gardens!

Anyway, when you get to know him he's not that bad, he's actually very friendly! Why don't you go visit him and say "Hi!" - he's hanging in his new favourite tree admiring the squirrels and watching us lot go about our day to day business!
